Shaniwar Wada
Bajirao I constructed the Peshwas' 13-story Shaniwar Wada in the year 1736. It served as the Peshwas' headquarters and represents the culture of Pune. Security was given top priority when the building was constructed.

National War Memorial Southern Command
The National War Memorial Southern Command is a war memorial honouring those who lost their lives in post-Independence conflicts. This is the only war memorial in South Asia that was built with donations from the public. On August 15, 1998, the memorial was unveiled and dedicated to the country.

Mahadji Shinde Chhatri
Shinde Chhatri at Wanawad is a memorial honouring the 18th-century Maratha military leader, who led the Maratha army under the Peshwas from 1760 to 1780. It is a reminder of Maratha rule and one of the most important landmarks in the city.

Aga Khan Palace
The Aga Khan Palace is an imposing structure. Since it was used as a prison for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, his secretary Mahadev Desai, and Sarojini Naidu, the palace has a close connection to the Indian freedom movement.

Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum
The Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum houses Dr. Dinkar G. Kelkar's (1896–1990) collection, which is devoted to Raja, his only son. Several sculptures dating back to the fourteenth century are housed in the three-story structure.
